There are a few things that each child will need to bring with them for a successful day at HeadStart.

A named bag containing:

• 2 full changes of clothing, all items named and appropriate for the weather
• A named sun hat in summer
• A named warm hat in winter
• Enough named nappies for each day, if your child wears them
• A bedtime cuddly, only if your child needs one for sleep times

We have a rotation system that allows each child a turn bringing a treasured book from home to share with their peers at mat time. Our teachers will let you know when it is your child’s turn.

Please do not let your child bring toys from home as they often get lost or confused with the toys from the centre.

Important Note: During summer months, please also ensure your child starts the day fully sunscreened.
